Cadaqués will host the opening of Art al Quadrat this Friday, 12 June, at the exhibition hall on the first floor of the Societat l'Amistat de Cadaqués. The opening is scheduled for 7pm, and the project is organised by the association CREA Cadaqués.
The exhibition is presented as a project in constant transformation. CREA Cadaqués says it starts from the idea of a square, but aims to go beyond that shape to create a shared artistic space that brings together different perspectives, languages and sensitivities.
More than sixty artists are taking part. The display is not fixed or closed, and new works, voices and proposals will be added throughout its run, with the aim of widening the dialogue between creators and the public.
Each piece is intended to add a new perspective to the whole, creating links and interpretations within a collective narrative that changes over time. The exhibition is designed as a living process, shaped by successive contributions from the participating artists.
Art al Quadrat also positions itself as a meeting point between Cadaqués and other artistic realities. CREA Cadaqués says the public is invited not only to visit, but to return and see how the exhibition changes.
CREA Cadaqués also thanked the Societat l'Amistat de Cadaqués for its welcome, and the artists for their participation. For more local updates, see our news coverage.
