In Blanes, Girona, Farmàcia Adell marked 100 years in business with a symbolic temporary closure on 25 May 2026. The gesture took place exactly a century after the pharmacy first opened.
Located on Carrer Anselm Clavé, the pharmacy is a long-standing local business in Blanes. It has been run by three generations of the same family and has become part of daily life in the town.
The celebration brought together loyal customers and representatives from Blanes City Council. Officials highlighted the pharmacy’s role in the community and its long service to the town.
The Adell family thanked customers for their support over the years. They said they hoped to continue serving the community for many more years.
