Barcelona's First Deputy Mayor, Laia Bonet, will on Thursday, 7 May, at 12:00, present the exhibition 'Barcelona 2035. A City to Live In' at the Casa de l’Arquitectura (Rosselló, 87).
The exhibition invites residents to discover significant transformation projects planned for Barcelona and its metropolitan area. Elena Amat, the exhibition's curator, will also speak at the presentation, according to Barcelona City Council.
Exploring Barcelona's Future
The display aims to inform citizens about key developments, including the transformation of Marina del Prat Vermell, Montjuïc, and La Sagrera. Other projects featured are the Tres Xemeneies (Three Chimneys) in Sant Adrià, the Ciutadella del Coneixement (Citadel of Knowledge), and the new Hospital Clínic at Porta Diagonal.
The exhibition is part of the World Capital of Architecture programme. It will be open to the public until 13 December, offering a look at how the city plans to evolve over the next decade.
