Thousands of FC Barcelona supporters gathered in Plaça de Catalunya, Barcelona, on Sunday evening to celebrate the club's 29th Spanish league championship.
Barça secured the 2025-2026 La Liga title with a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid at Spotify Camp Nou. The win sparked widespread celebrations across the city, with fans filling one of Barcelona's main squares.
The festivities started at Spotify Camp Nou, where the players lifted the league trophy in front of their home crowd. Soon after, supporters moved to Plaça de Catalunya, waving Barça flags, lighting flares, and chanting late into the night. This year, fans could not gather at the traditional Canaletes fountain on La Rambla because of ongoing construction work.
Victory Parade Planned
Celebrations are set to continue on Monday with a victory parade. The parade is scheduled to start at 5pm from Spotify Camp Nou. It will travel through several major streets in Barcelona, including Travessera de les Corts, Balmes, Gran Via, Passeig de Gràcia, and Avinguda de Sarrià, before returning to the stadium.
