Avinent Manresa’s men’s athletics team finished seventh in the Joma First Division Clubs Championship final in Pamplona, with 71 points, according to Regió 7.
The Manresa side, made up of young athletes, recorded three individual victories and four fourth-place finishes across the competition. That points total placed them seventh in the final standings and in the overall league classification.
The final also confirmed promotion for Universitat Oviedo and AD Marathon to the Honour Division. Both clubs finished ahead of the rest of the field in the race for promotion.
For Manresa, the result adds another step in the club’s development work with younger athletes. The team will now look to build on this performance in future championships.
