Amposta, in the Terres de l'Ebre, has hosted the first Terres de l'Ebre Hackathon, a social innovation competition for primary school pupils. Around 40 primary six pupils from the city's schools took part in the event.

The young participants worked on their projects aboard the electric boat La Perla, according to local reports. The format was designed to encourage problem-solving and creative thinking among the pupils.

The hackathon brought a practical, collaborative setting to the city, with students developing ideas in a setting that linked education and innovation. It also adds to Amposta's role in local initiatives aimed at supporting young talent.
