Deal strengthens presence in Baix Empordà
Finques Company, a Girona-based property management and real estate services firm within Grup Housfy, has acquired the established local agency Salvadó & Gubert. The purchase, confirmed on Wednesday 7 October 2026, incorporates Salvadó & Gubert’s offices in Palamós and Platja d’Aro into Finques Company’s network, along with its professional team and portfolio. The acquisition adds 102 managed property owners’ communities and rental properties to Finques Company’s existing operations, which already include five offices across Girona, Roses, Llançà, Figueres and Empuriabrava, where it manages over 650 communities and more than 1,800 rental homes according to Brainsre.news. With this integration, Finques Company’s workforce grows to 67 professionals.
'Proximity and market knowledge' guiding growth
"We want to grow, but do so while maintaining what has always defined Finques Company: proximity and knowledge of the territory,"
said Tània Company, general manager of Finques Company, explaining the rationale behind the acquisition as reported by VIA Empresa. She highlighted that the new team brings deep understanding of the Palamós and Platja d’Aro markets and shares Finques Company’s commitment to long-term client relationships. The company intends to preserve this local expertise while enhancing it with additional technological resources and operational support from Grup Housfy.
This move follows Finques Company’s own integration into Grup Housfy in January 2026, marking a generational transition as Tània Company, daughter of co-founder Josep Company Agustí, took leadership from her father and uncle Joan Company Agustí as detailed on the company’s website. The strategy going forward will focus on absorbing other locally rooted firms with strong municipal track records, ensuring continuity of service while scaling operations.
